Piko dog food review
Dry food for dogs Piko (“Pico”) is produced in Russia, manufacturer – IE Zhukova MV Official site – https://pikopro.ru/ , it contains information about the composition of the entire line of feed, recommended feeding rates, etc. This feed belongs to the economy class.
Piko cat food is also available.
Piko feed composition
Let’s consider the composition of Piko dry food using the example of the “Tender Beef” option, for dogs of medium and large breeds:
The manufacturer has separately recorded a list of meat and a list of herbal ingredients. But if you combine them, it turns out that three of the first four ingredients are vegetable – wheat 25%, corn flour 20%, rice 15%. All of them are sources of carbohydrates.
Minced meat 20%, meat flour 10% – protein sources. The truth is not clear, 20% of the minced meat is fresh or after the preparation of the feed. If the first option, then in the final granules you get only about 6-10% minced meat, and the total content of meat ingredients is not more than 20%. In this case, at least one third of the 22% protein indicated in the guaranteed analysis is of plant origin.
Animal fat 5%, vegetable oil 5% – sources of fats and fatty acids. Not specified any specific animal fats, or any plant oils.
There is no information on the preservatives used.

Piko dog food – reviews
Piko dry food is not widely used, but due to its low cost, many dog owners have already bought them for their pets. Therefore, there are reviews, below we have shared a few of the newest and most informative.
The package arrived in the box without damage, the food was large enough, not oily in appearance, the dogs started with enthusiasm. The exit is solid. We’ll see…
Firstly, there was a complaint about delivery – they brought feed for medium and large breeds instead of small and medium ones. Okay, that’s half the trouble. She took it, the French decided to gnaw it. The food itself is terrible: the smell of sourness all over the house, all three dogs almost turned inside out from vomiting after taking the food. I did not listen to the reviews, which I really regretted. My advice is not to take if your favorites are dear to you.
The food is packed perfectly, in a cardboard box, I found all the necessary information on it. We are already finishing up this food – the dogs eat without appetite, but they gain weight well, this is what I needed.
